Western Pennsylvania is a great place for disc golf. As a matter of fact, this most previous summer the 2015 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships was held in Pittsburgh at three locations. These locations were Deer Lakes Park, Knob Hill, and Slippery Rock University. These three locations were chosen because they have nice courses and are somewhat close to each other. Next year, the World Championships will take place in Kansas.
I don't think Slippery Rock uses their disc golf course as much as they should. There are not a lot of things to do in Slippery Rock and this is one activity that a lot of students would find fun. The University needs to advertise it more so they can remind students they have it. I was hoping this assignment will help spread the word around campus.
